2007 NCEA Results at Chilton


New Zealand Scholarship (Year 13)

  • 17 scholarships were won by 13 students across 10 subjects.
  • Gillian Nelson won a New Zealand Scholarship, achieving Scholarship  passes in English, History, Music Studies and Statistics and Modelling.
  • Amanda van Zyl won scholarships in Biology (with Outstanding Performance) and English.

Level 3

The Year 13 class of 2006 gained an 86% pass in NCEA Level 3.  83% of the students gained at least one Excellence, with 10% of students gaining Excellence in at least half of their standards.  Overall, the 2006 Year 13 students achieved an 81% pass in University Entrance with an average of 4.8 Excellence passes per student.

Level 2

The pass rate was 96%, with 89% of the students gaining at least one Excellence.  Excellence in at least half of their standards was achieve by 7.1% of students.  Overall, the 2006 Year 12 students gained an average of 6.2 Excellence passes per student.

Level 1

The pass rate was 89% with 93% of students gaining at least one Excellence.  7.4% of students gained Excellence in at least half of their standards.  Overall, the 2006 Year 11 students gained an average of 6.1 Excellence passes per student.

Year 10  

100% of students gained credits towards their NCEA Level 1 with 90% gaining at least one Excellence.
