1 September 2011 - Junior A Basketball Regional Win

31 August 2011 -  Seven Swimming Golds

Chilton Saint James School Year 13 Student, Emily McGill won 7 gold medals and 1 silver in the inaugural New Zealand Secondary School Swimming Championships on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August in Hamilton.  Click here for more information.

29 August 2011 - Grandparents and Special Friends' Day

Last week the Junior School staff and students welcomed over 180 grandparents and special friends into their classrooms. 

Visitors were entertained with a variety of items, spent time with our students making connections across the generations and enjoyed morning tea.

Thank you to all our guests who took time to be with us.

25 August 2011 - Uniform Shop Sale

The Uniform Shop will be holding a sale of selected School uniform items and ballet stock beginning on Tuesday 30 August. The sale will run during the usual Shop hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and will continue through to the end of Term Three. 11 August 2011 - Kids' Stuff Talen Quest Win

Congratulations to Mia Bailey (Year 7) and her step-brother Lachlan Burne for their win in the Kids' Stuff Talent Quest with their black and white video 'Busk Stop' featuring Mia, 13, singing Adele's Someone Like You, accompanied by Lachlan, 11, on the guitar. 11 August 2011 - We are Open
Despite the inclement weather Chilton is open today.  However the Years 7 - 8 parent teacher night has been postponed to a later date.
 

11 August 2011 - Chilton Scholarship Results Announced
Congratulations to the 14 students who have been awarded Chilton Academic, Sport and Performing Arts Scholarships commencing in 2012.

10 August 2011 - Puffin Short Story Competition Finalist

Congratulations to Amira Bajema (Year 6) who, with her story 'The Kiwi who Tricked the Stoat', is one of eight finalists nationwide in the Junior Category of the Puffin Storylines Short Story Competition. 

9 August 2011 - St Dominic's Girls High School Exchange 

Chilton currently has twelve students visiting on a two week exchange from our sister school in Tokyo, St Dominic’s Girls’ High School

Techorise, one of Chilton's Senior Enterprise teams, is in the news with their scented candles that double as handcream.

5 August 2011 - Seraphim Choir to Sing at the Vatican

ReadRChilton's Seraphim Choir are back from their highly successful 2011 Europe Tour where they took part in the Rhapsody Children’s Choral Festival in Vienna, Salzburg, and Prague, culminating in a Grand Concert in Prague.  Their final stop saw them sing a Mass at St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City, Rome on 26 July before returning to New Zealand on 30 July. The Seraphim Choir 2011 Europe Tour Report is now available.
