Year 6 Exhibition

Every year, as part of the International Baccalaureate PYP progamme, Students in Year 6 carry out an extended, collaborative inquiry project, known as the Exhibition, under the guidance of their teachers.

The exhibition represents a significant event in the life of both the school and student, synthesizing the essential elements of the programme and sharing them with the whole school community. It is an opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the student profile that have been developing throughout their engagement with the programme. It is a culminating experience marking the transition from the PYP to later years of learning.

 This year the theme for the Exhibition is ‘Sharing the Planet”. Preparation for this will begin shortly with students reviewing the concepts, writing a central Idea and establishing lines of inquiry. The major research  recording  and action will continue throughout Term 3. In 2011 the Exhibition will be presented during week 8 of Term 3.
