Admissions

Most students join Chilton at Preschool, New Entrant,  Year 7 or Year 9 however we welcome students at all year levels.

Getting Started at Chilton

The best way to select a school for your child is to come and visit – so check out the dates for our forthcoming School in Action Days

Reading a few testimonials from our students (past and present), staff and parent community may help you to understand what others see as the real benefits of attending Chilton.

We operate waiting lists throughout the School so we urge you to submit an Application Form well in advance of your anticipated start date.

For an accurate picture of the waiting list for a particular peer group, please contact the Registrar.

The main intake levels at Chilton are:

  • Afternoon Preschool
  • New Entrants
  • Year 7.

We do not always add an extra class at Year 9, so places at Year 9 often only arise if a student leaves Chilton at the end of Year 8.  As a result, we recommend that you seek enrolment at Year 7 in preference to Year 9 if you are considering Chilton as your daughter’s secondary school.

All prospective students are required to attend an enrolment interview with the Principal and have the opportunity to Spend a Day.   Completing an Application Form does not guarantee entry to the School.

This section also summarises the School Fees.  Chilton is an Independent School so we are self-funded.  Our Business Regulations are published in this section also.  All of these documents should be reviewed when submitting an Application Form.

There are also Scholarships available for students going into Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12.
