The Chilton Amadeus Chamber Music programme offers opportunities for more advanced Amadeus orchestra players to refine their ensemble performing skills and confidence through performance in chamber (small) ensemble groups. Students applying for the Amadeus Chamber Music programme should be a member of the Chilton Amadeus Orchestra.
A variety of music will be selected to suit the needs of players. Every effort will be made to place all students applying in a suitable ensemble. Places may be limited.
Students wishing to participate in the Chilton Amadeus Chamber Music Programme should be at a Grade 4 or equivalent minimum standard of playing and reading. This is a guide only, and our tutors will advise students of their suitability for the programme.
Students will be expected to put in regular individual practice in their own time to learning their part to achieve a high standard.
The Chilton Amadeus Chamber Music rehearsals will be held on Mondays from 4.40pm – 5.10pm, following the Amadeus orchestra rehearsal. Workshops with specialist tutors will occur from time to time. Other rehearsal times during the week will be made to suit the needs of members of each group.

Upon receiving a completed Enrolment form, the Accounts Department will invoice each student at the beginning of each Term. The fees for 2012 are:
Non Chilton Students: $80 per Term (Term One and Two only)
Chilton students: no charge (see Chilton Parent Handbook).
The Directors of the Chilton Amadeus Chamber Music programme are Head of Music , Mrs Ella Hanify and Mrs Lynne Scott. Guest tutors will coach groups from time to time.
