The learning journey at Chilton begins in our co-educational Preschool level, continuing through our girls’ only programmes from Years 1 to 13.
The Junior School, from Preschool to Year 6, operates the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). Follow the links to read more about what being an IB World School means for our Junior School students, how the IB programme is integral to the Chilton curriculum overall and at a Preschool level.
The Secondary School caters for girls in Years 7 to 13, working towards the NCEA examination system. The Secondary curriculum, why we choose to teach NCEA and examples of recent student successes are all covered in this section.
The library is a central resource for the Junior and Secondary Schools, located in a purpose-built facility completed in 2010. You can read more about it here.
Co-curricular opportunities are abundant at Chilton. This section will give you a feel for the range of activities in dance, music, speech, drama and sports that are organised throughout the year.
