Maintaining their reputation for quality performance in both team and individual competition, Chilton students are competitive at local, national and international levels. Student sporting achievements so far in 2012 include:
Athletics
•Kate Plimmer and Lucy Garner (Year 11) took part in the NZSS Athletic Championships in December 2011 with Kate finishing with 3 top ten placings
Football
•Briar Palmer (Year 12) was named in the NZ Football U17 Squad, selected to play a tri-series in Argentina in February
Gymnastics
•Mackenzie Slee (Year 9) competed in Hawaii in a New Zealand artistic gymnastic team
Roller Skating
•Katelyn Kennedy (Year 7) won 6 gold medals at the New Zealand Artistic Roller Skating Championships
Swimming
•Michellie Sasse, Megan Lensink and Jayme-Lee Hunter (Year 9), Irdina Clark and Jodanne Aitken (Year 10), and Bryony Thorne (Year 11) all swam well at the Wellington Swimming Championships with Bryony winning her first gold medal
