Strategic Planning

A Strategic Plan helps to prepare minds, ensuring that trustees, executives, managers and staff understand the business, its strengths, weakness to be improved, and the changes to be made.  To be successful, however, strategic planning must increase the degree of innovation surrounding the School’s strategic objectives and ensure that innovative ideas are captured and used.

Below we outline our current Strategic Plan however we are currently in the process of developing our Strategic Plan for 2012 – 2016.  As with any business in today’s modern world, one clear area of focus in this plan is our ICT strategic planning.  Once this working document reaches completion, the high level goals will be published here to give a more forward-thinking context to strategic development at Chilton.

Strategic Plan 2006 – 2011

While the Strategic Plan provides a strong guide to the School’s strategic direction, it is also alive to fresh initiatives to achieve our strategic objectives.  As such, it is revisited regularly to prioritise and to review actions taken to achieve our objectives.

You will find that the objectives apply to all of our activities and are important for our work on a day-to-day basis.   The précis for the following objectives was acknowledged that as we implement the plan over the five year timeframe, we will no doubt strike challenges.  Learning from these, along with new opportunities we identify as we go, all help us to achieve our objectives.

Our Strategic Objectives
