Term fees payable prior to the commencement of each Term (there are four Terms each year at Chilton – see Term Dates for more information).
Students wishing to sit Royal Academy of Dance Grade exams from Grade 3 – 5:
It is compulsory to attend two RAD syllabus ballet classes per week for the whole year.
Students wishing to sit Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Exams:
It is compulsory to attend a minimum of three classical technique syllabus classes per week. It is recommended that students attend additional classes outside their syllabus work.
Senior Jazz students:
Students are required to attend two lessons per week: one Exam Syllabus class and one Open Jazz or Musical Theatre class per week.
Musical Theatre / Show Jazz:
Students must have dance training to Intermediate Foundation Ballet / Pre Elementary Jazz / Hop Hop 4 / Tap 5 standard or above and also attend another dance technique class, i.e. Ballet, Jazz, Hop Hop or Top. All current students will remain in the same levels in 2012; students will move levels on recommendation of the tutor.
Senior Contemporary:
Students must have dance training to Advanced 1 standard and have a minimum of two years experience in Contemporary dance; students will move to the Senior class on recommendation of the tutor.
