From the Principal - Education for the future

At Chilton Saint James School, we believe that young women who are known, cared for and supported are likely to be young women who do their very best, whatever their field of endeavour. Personal fulfilment through the pursuit of excellence emphasizes the achievement of every student's personal best and provides the focus for our broad educational program.
Clear expectations and a positive school environment combined with small classes mean that each student's development is closely monitored. In this caring atmosphere, the partnership between home and school is crucial and shared intervention to modify behaviour can be provided if it becomes necessary.
We believe that as human beings we have intellectual, social, emotional, physical, aesthetic and spiritual dimensions. The purpose of education is to nurture the growth of young women in each of these areas. A great education, a Chilton Saint James School education, encourages students to recognise their humanity in becoming more fully human. Within a framework of positive Christian values, we encourage each student to seek meaning, gain understanding and pursue wisdom in every sphere of life.
We expect the best from students who have learned to take on challenges. The self-confidence and collaborative approach of the young women who complete their schooling with us at Chilton assure us that, as they move on to further education, 'the best' is what they have gained as they go on to great feats.
