The Chilton Saint James Uniform

An Overview 

The school uniform reflects the nature and stature of the School. At Chilton, it consists of a compulsory formal uniform with optional additional items that can be added as parents and students choose.

The compulsory items are trans-seasonal and are worn in both summer and winter. The compulsory uniform is required for all formal School occasions and may be worn every day but it is only required on one day a week.

The optional uniform items can be worn to suit the climate, the occasion or the student.

Pinafore - Years 0-2 only
Gym dress - Years 3-13
Blazer
Formal shirt - long or short sleeved

Black socks / tights

Sunhat - Preschool to Year 6 (Term One and Term Four only)

Preschool

Preschool students wear a simple and practical uniform which includes a white Chilton T-shirt and blue shorts or track pants and top for cooler weather. They are also required to wear a sun hat when outdoors in Terms One and Four.

Note: A number of extra curricular sports have special uniforms that are not included in this list.

The Uniform Shop

The only outlet to buy our school uniform is at our Uniform Shop on our school site at 124 Waterloo Road.  The shop opening hours are 2.30pm - 4.30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  There is no parking available on site, however there are many parking options on Waterloo Road and in the surrounding area.  For any queries please contact the School Office.
