Chilton operates a supervised After School Care facility Monday to Friday from 3.30 – 5.30pm. The programme is available for:
- Chilton students of school age (5 years) through to Year 8 and their siblings.
- Wellesley College students.
- Daughters and Sons of Chilton Staff members.
After School Care begins with an afternoon tea break. After this, a qualified teacher, Rebecca Routhan supervises students’ homework and then offers a variety of activities such as crafts, computers and reading. For a child who has a Dance or Music lesson after school, they can be changed and sent off to class at their particular time. Cost: $7 per half hour payable at the end of each term.
The School Library is open before school daily from 8.15am and after school daily until 5.30pm for students from Years 9 – 13. If you would like to enrol your child at After School Care, please fill out the After School Care Application Form, and return the completed form to Reception. Follow the links to read more about the Library or other after School activities open to the wider community, such as the Chilton Dance Centre and the Brio Choir.
