Executive Assistant

The Principal of Chilton Saint James School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to work in a challenging environment.

The successful candidate will report to the Principal but will provide assistance to the Executive Team which encompasses the Heads of Preschool, Primary, Middle and Dance Schools and the Business Director.

You will be an experienced, confident professional who will thrive working in a fast paced environment, you’ll have exceptional social skills and will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

You will need excellent organisational skills with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality.

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels, including with students, parents and staff are required.

Duties will include diary management, scheduling of team meetings and organisation of events, management of the uniform shop, coordination of external communications including the weekly bulletin and providing secretary duties to the Board of Trustees.

Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics teacher who has the ability to teach AS Mathematics and, or, Level 3 Calculus. This is a fixed term position covering for a teacher on secondment.


Business Studies and Social Sciences Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Business Studies and Social Sciences teacher to deliver curriculum for Years 9 to 13. The ideal candidate will have experience in the delivery of CIE.

Biology and Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Biology and Chemistry teacher. The successful candidate will be able to teach Biology and Chemistry to Year 13 and will have experience in the delivery of CIE.

Science Teacher

We are seeking an experienced science teacher. The successful candidate will be able to teach science from Year 7 with the ability to teach senior physics or chemistry being advantageous. Experience with CIE would be an advantage though is not necessary.

Teacher of Music

We are seeking an experienced and talented Music Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our Music Department. The successful applicant will be an assured teacher across a broad range of ages and abilities from Preschool up to the Senior School.  The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the School’s vibrant extra-curricular music programme and confident keyboard skills are required.
