Holiday Programme
A holiday programme will be offered for the upcoming holiday period. This programme will keep students engaged with a variety of activities around the school. The schedule of activities will include a range of arts and crafts, sports, music, and computing. This programme is being offered to Years 1 to 9 students and their siblings, and will operate from:

 9 -13 December 2019
 21 – 24 January 2020
If there is enough interest we may also offer the week of 13 – 17 January 2020 – To register your interest for this week, please contact Simone Conway, sconway@chilton.school.nz.

The holiday programme will run from 7.30am to 5.00pm.

The cost per student, per week is $275, or $60 per student per day.

A number of the days in the holiday programme are now full. If you would like to register, please email Simone Conway (sconway@chilton.school.nz) to confirm whether space is available.

Due to demand and the limited space within the programme, there will be no refunds for non-attendance.

Other information:

Drop off is from 7.30am and students should be delivered to the Library. Pick up is also at the Library by 5.00pm.

The holiday programme schedule will be:

7:30 – 8:30 Arrival at the Library
8:30 – 10:30 Activity One
10:30 – 11:00 Morning Tea
11:00 – 12:30 Activity Two
12:30 – 1:30 Lunch
1:30 – 3:00 Activity Three
3:00 – 3:30 Afternoon Tea
3:30 – 5:00 Quiet Time / Movie

The activities will vary depending on the age and number of students and the weather and will include the following:

Arts and crafts with  jewellery & keyring making, pastel work and painting.
Construction of catapult planes, puppets, birdfeeders, bughouses and treasure boxes.
Science and cooking activities making toffee, hokey pokey.
Sports and games in the Jubilee Centre, field and tennis courts
Bikes and Scooter time, outdoor fort making and water games.
Library time.
Computer or ipad activities.
Afternoon movies.

Students are required to bring their own food and drinks. There will be access to drinking fountains but the tuck shop will not be open.

A change of clothes is suggested in case of wet or dirty activities.
