International Students

We welcome international students to Chilton Saint James School.

Welcome to Chilton Saint James School; a school that has a 101 year history of quality education where girls and their progress is at the heart of everything we do. With girls aged 2 to 18 years, the school is a family school where there are great relationships established between the five sections: Primary, Preschool, Middle School, Senior School and Dance School. Our older girls are big sisters to the younger girls.

At Chilton Saint James School, girls are challenged and supported to excel academically. Chilton offers the Cambridge International Examinations. From 2017, a wide range of subjects will be offered at IGCSE and also at AS Level. Not only does Chilton boast a strong academic history but also is proud of our sporting and cultural activities, both locally and nationally, and, in addition to this, our renowned Chilton Dance Centre provided first class opportunities for 450 students of all ages.

In their red uniforms, Chilton girls are proud to be part of a school that not only values academic endeavour but aims to support girls in all other aspects of their education. Chilton embraces diversity and, whilst it is strongly a New Zealand school, it welcomes students from overseas and makes every effort to be inclusive, supportive and kind.

Chilton Saint James School is a member of WPEN – Wellington Private Education Network that was formed between three top Wellington schools. Chilton Saint James School, Samuel Marsden Karori and Scots College work together to provide a strong programme study and pastoral programme for international students. Chilton Saint James is a safe school where girls are cared for on a daily basis. I look forward to welcoming your daughters to Chilton Saint James School.
